6 Glorious Hours

Marek did this for 6 hours and 11 minutes in a row last night.  I feel so rested!

Today we went and tried to pick up his corn free tylonol from Bernie's, which it turns out has to be compounded after all... Annoying.  So after many phone calls we finally have a perscription in and just have to wait until tomorrow morning to pick it up.

My new MAC

Hey love!  Today little M and I are enjoying a computer that works!

As soon as I get the monitors set up in the office I'll take a pic for you but it may be a few days... Today has been productive though, I cleaned off the kitchen counter!  I'm also working at getting all of our addresses added to my new contacts so that I can print them off and send out our baby announcements finally.

Marek has been enjoying his bumbo chair but only for about 10 minutes at a time.  He hung out and ate dinner with mom, dad and me last night.  He's so cute (have I ever told you you make a really cute baby?)

I attempted a cry it out nap session with him today but it didn't really work.  He would cry for about 15 minutes, sleep for about 5 then wake up and cry again.  It was kind of like he didn't even realize he'd snoozed for the little bit he did.  It lasted for about an hour until it was time to eat again so I fed him.  Oh well, maybe next time we'll start a little earlier...  

His back is looking a lot better, still red but not as irritated or blistered on the corn patch.

And now for our empty corn/gluten/oat/potato/pea/green bean/soy/garlic/peanut free pantry...  Its hard to believe just a few days ago it was too packed to get anything else in.

Now that I have a computer that works I'll try and update you a lot more often (my goal is daily but we'll see how that goes...)  We miss you more than you know.

I have a cute video of little guy talking that I want to send but its too big to email and for some reason when I finally got my pictures to download from my phone they didn't download my videos... do you know why?  I guess at the very least I will post it from my new Mac sometime this week!

I love you with all my heart, things aren't the same with out you home.  I think about you all the time, especially every time M does anything cute, I think I've taken more pictures in the last week than in the whole last month you were home!  Come home soon OK?

Baby William

I wish you could have been home to meet baby Will.  He is precious and squeaks all the time like Dewy did.  Mak and Kim have been home for two nights now and it sounds like things are going well.  We miss you like crazy and can't wait for you to come home.

William Douglas Kampen 8 lbs 8 oz. 21.5 inches long.  (Can you believe how tiny he looks compaired to Marek and hes almost a pound heavier than Marek was!)

Allergies Oh My!

I finally convinced my archaic computer to cooperate!

Here are a few pictures of his allergy saga...

Getting ready for the first day of testing, before he realized it wasn't going to feel so good.  I love his baby sized hospital gown, so cute!

This is what the patch looked like.  The purple dots are marking the 20 different spots where they prick tested him for type one allergies.

This is right after they pulled the patch off on Wednesday.  The bloody one above the 10 is corn.  They drew a line under each of the foods so it was clear where the reaction should have been.  When you see the next pic you'll realize that was not necessary with poor Marek's back...

The foods are in rows, 1-5 are the ones on the far left from top to bottom, the next column is 6-10, then 11-15, and the far right column is 16-20.

Hoodrat and a STUPID computer

My computer is making me crazy, it is terrible and won't let me download the pictures from my phone to the computer... I think I'm ready to get a Mac...
