Playing with William (better known as boo-boo) Doesn't it look like they're holding hands?  Marek kept reaching over and touching him and looking at him, it was really cute.  We worked on Damen's calendar for a few hours, talked and then when Mak got home we all walked to the post office and finally mailed out Marek's birth announcements.

 He can't quite sit up by himself yet but he's really close and today I was able to prop him up by himself in the bath.  He's getting to be a little bit of a pain in the tub, he wants to play but he can't really play yet and it makes it really hard to bathe him solo.

 Here is his second bloody poop of the day, I guess its more of a bloody shart...  Guess we'll see how tomorrow's poops look.

Since you know me you can probably figure out what my reaction was like.  But like a true military wife with no husband around to take care of the truely important things like filling up gas tanks and killing bugs I killed it myself, with a butcher's knife...

 We went to hang out with your mom the other day while she was healing up.  We attempted to watch a movie but there was more talking going on than movie watching, I think the only way for your mom to actually watch a movie is at a theater even when she only has one working foot...  After I left she apparently tried to unload the dishwasher and knocked over a pile of glasses and then spent forever crawling around on the floor cleaning them up.  She cracks me up.

 I've been a baking fool lately.  I made banana bread, cup cakes and zuchini bread.  This is buddy helping me make cup cakes.

 I watched Liam yesterday while Mom went to a birthday lunch for her friends in big lake.  Liam kept batting at his long hair and I was worried it was his ears hurting, so I put him in a sweet Mulan do, to double check that it was his hair and not an ear infection right before they took off on vacation.

 We put both boys car seats in my car to go meet William, they fit great, proof that my SUV is awesomer than most.  PS did I mention its paid off?  We got the title in the mail the other day.

 The heater is now downstairs and looks great.  I'm going to work on some shelving for the upstairs soon.  You want coat hooks too right?

Thumb Sucker?

Hey Love ~

I've been saving up a bunch of pictures since I haven't had much time to blog or much to blog about... so here it goes, pics from the last weekish...

This is Marek's new favorite toy, he is a very exciting giraffe named Jeff.  Each of his feet do different things, one squeaks, one is a bell, etc.  I hear he is very fun to chew on.  If you look closely you can tell he has little ribbons around his feet like clydesdale hooves, every once in a while M will get a ribbon between his gums and hold on for a long time while he looks at it.  I'll try and take a pic, its cute.

I figured its been a while since you saw your first born sons.  They miss you like crazy.  Between you being gone and the yard being torn up they think they've died and gone to hell.  I'm thinking we'll have to head back out to the lake soon, they seemed to really appreciate their week of lake time and behaved really well, stayed close, etc.

Marek's daily outfits now consist of really tight 3-6 month clothes and a bib at all times.  He's a drool machine.  When he's on his back he seems to flip the bib in his face a lot though and really doesn't like it but can't seem to figure out how to flip it back.  Maybe I'll start taking the bib off for activity gym time?

He's starting to get really fixated on things.  Out of the blue something will catch his eye and he's mesmerized.  He loved the excer-saucer at the lake so I set up the one at home for him to use too.  Our down stairs is even more littered with baby stuff than before now that it's out and the bumbo is always being used.  I'm thinking about putting away the swing, he doesn't really like it (which is weird because most parents say that its the most important thing they own...)

We met Vanessa, Van and Courtney and her daughter (friends of Sveas) at the goldenview park today with Mags and Liam.  It was chilly so we dressed warm.  I think this pic adequately represents the head growth that has happened since you left...

I'm petrified we're going to have a thumb sucker.  Since he's teething his hands are always in his mouth now.  As of now he seems to only chew on them but someday I'm sure he'll figure out they're the next best thing to Dad's pinky and we'll be done for.  Tonight I gave him a bath and he started suck/chewing on his thumb after, it provided a good photo op to illustrate my point, scary future thumb sucker.

Tomorrow is a busy day.  Davie needs a ride to the airport so we're headed out first thing in the morning to G-wood, then lunch with Leah C and her best buddy who is in town, then getting my nails done with Mom and having Blake and Kayla for dinner.  So wish us luck that we're still alive by the end of all that.

PS remind me to tell you the crazy story of how Zach and Davie almost died packrafting 20 mile...

Its official, we have a roller!  3 months 12 days old!  I wish you could have been here to see it (I wish I could have seen it!)  I'll try and get a video as soon as possible and find a way for you to see it.

At the Lake

I'm so glad we got to Skype this morning, it almost felt like we were waking up next to each other like a normal day.  I miss you so much.  We're getting by with out you but things really aren't the same.  Every time he does something cute I think about how much I wish you could be here to see it with me.

I'm behind a few days blogging, sorry.  The next few pictures are from Wednesday and Thursday, Mom and Dad came for the night and then Thursday we went for a walk with Mom, Mags and Liam.

I tried to get a pick of Marek playing with Dad, Dad would stick out his tongue and Marek would laugh and then stick his out.  It was really cute.

This is his new favorite thing to do, he puts the knuckles of his first two fingers and thumb in his mouth and chews on them, I'm pretty sure he's starting to teethe.

Leah took most of the pics at our girl sleep over and is supposed to send them to me, but I snapped this one of Marek and his future wife Saturday morning.  She is 8 days younger than him... he is a beast.  She sat in his bumbo and there was room for her to put both legs in one leg hole, when he sits in it I have to push his fat legs in.  Picking her up is like picking up Marek at 1 month old and shes not even super small for her age.  I can't wait to hear what percentiles he'll be in at his 4 month check up!  Also she was due 2 weeks before him so technically shes older than him...

This will be a great pic to show at their wedding.

We got out to the lake last night around 4.  He screamed bloody murder from our house until we got to FT. Rich and I finally pulled over and fed him until he fell asleep.  I'm not sure what was wrong but once he got upset he just couldn't get over it with out eating...  I think a lot of nice military folk saw my boob but I didn't care because he wasn't screaming!

Ma'ma cut his finger and toe nails (I clearly do a terrible job, he had scratched up his whole head and face.)

I think Helen held him for about 3 hours last night.  Shes so sweet.

Kent played airplane with him for a long time and didn't even mind getting drooled on like crazy.

Today we tried him in this, he liked it until he got frustrated that the toys weren't doing what he wanted them to!

Miss you so much and wish you were here, try to get a longer nap today, I'm worried you're not sleeping enough.  I wish I could send you some really healthy food.
